E. Sarah Mowery, MPAS, PA-C, Certified Physician Assistant, graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida in 2005, where she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science Education. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2007. Sarah is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine and is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. As a Physician Assistant who has received training in dermatology, Sarah is licensed and qualified to perform a comprehensive dermatological examination, diagnose, treat, and prescribe appropriate medical therapy for all dermatologic needs. She is skilled in performing procedures that include shave biopsies/excisions, punch biopsies/excisions, cryotherapy, and electrodessication. Sarah continues to broaden her Dermatology knowledge through frequent Continuing Education conferences lead by Dermatology experts across the country.
